Borealis L.A.T is a leading player in the European fertilizer market, supplying top-quality fertilizer solutions to the European agriculture through its Ammonium Nitrate, Vario and Complex ranges. With its N-Pilot® technology, Borealis L.A.T can accurately determine the nutritional status of crops and directly suggest the amount of nitrogen the crops need.
Borealis L.A.T is Borealis’ distributor of fertilizers and technical nitrogen products, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Borealis, a leading provider of innovative solutions in the fields of polyolefins, base chemicals and fertilizers. In France, it has 90 employees, working in Paris, La Rochelle, Grandpuits and Grand-Quevilly.
Since January 2016, all of Borealis L.A.T's sales, logistics and customer service teams in France have been combined within a single entity – Borealis L.A.T France SAS – to enable it to provide better support and service to its French customers.
The consolidation of all commercial functions in France in one legal entity supports Borealis’ target to increase the fertilizer sales volumes to 10 million tonnes by 2020 and to become Europe's second-largest fertilizer producer.
Borealis L.A.T is also unveiling its new website, which has been completely redesigned to optimise the customer experience. Visitor’s journey is made more dynamic with intuitive access to products datasheets. Products recommendations are more reachable to enable the combination of fertilizers and crops. The new advanced search function offers suggestions based on the first few words entered. Finally, all visitors are now automatically redirected to the page corresponding to the country in which they are located, allowing them to check products available in each market.
“The French market plays a key role in the business strategy of the Borealis Group,” says Christophe Beaunoir, General Manager Borealis France and Head of Trading at Borealis. “With the creation of Borealis L.A.T France and its new website, Borealis L.A.T now has united teams and optimised tools to meet the expectations and needs of its French customers”.
