Phising E-Mails: Please check carefully the sender

Phishing mails are circulating and fraudsters are trying to come into possession of access to unauthorized information

This information is to alert you on potential attempts by fraudsters to manipulate information with the aim to benefit from financial transactions. Correspondent parties email communication is imitated in order to access payment information.


Please always check very carefully correct spelling of the sender’s domain address. Fraudsters use very sophisticated ways to falsify addresses. Borealisgroup and Borealis L.A.T only genuine domain address is: @borealisgroup.com and @lat-news.com (only for Newsletter)


 To avoid damage by phishing emails, please observe following email best practises:

  • Confirm the sender’s identity before replying to email requests
  • Do not download or open attachments or click links in emails you are not sure they are genuine and you suspect they may be fraudulent
  • Do not reply to text messages or emails requesting sensitive personal information, unless you can validate that these are from Borealis.
  • Do not give out any private information.
  • If you receive a suspicious email, you should block the sender and delete the email in order to stop further attempts.
  • Consult your IT department about any phishing attempts

In case of receiving any suspicious emails from a falsified domain address similar to Borealis address, please immediately inform your Borealis contact person.
